My room was super comfy, and the staff were incredibly helpful! The breakfast had a solid variety, which I loved! Just a heads-up—the church bells at dawn can be a bit much. 😅

Dining at Real La Merced was a delightful culinary adventure. Freshly prepared breakfasts are a highlight, setting you up for the day ahead! Plus, the hotel's beautiful grounds create an inviting space to enjoy meals outdoors. The location is also spot on, with hotspots like El Burrito Loco and the Garden Cafe just a hop away.
While the hotel shines in many areas, the check-in process could use a little polish. they did keep me waiting a bit, making the arrival feel lengthy. Still, I must say, this did little to dull the sparkle of my overall experience!

The Real La Merced captured my heart right from the start. The hotel has stunning traditional architecture, and the courtyard, with its beautiful pool area, was a perfect escape from the city buzz. The staff, especially Daisy at the front desk, went above and beyond, ensuring all our needs were met. They even provided us with great local restaurant recommendations! Breakfast in the delightful restaurant exceeded my expectations, featuring a lovely view of the church. Our room was spacious, equipped with good amenities, and had a comfy bed. One small drawback was the church bells ringing at dawn, which were quite disruptive. However, I could overlook that due to the overall charm of the hotel and the attentive service we received.

Had a fantastic group trip! The hotel was absolutely beautiful and perfectly located near the famous La Merced Church. The staff provided us with great suggestions for outings and even helped organize our tours. Make sure to explore the courtyard and enjoy the pool area. we spent plenty of time there. Breakfast was tasty and offered a pleasant experience each morning.
One downside was the occasional street noise that crept into our room. It’s a lively area, which can be a bit distracting at times, especially at night.

The hotel grounds are absolutely stunning and well-kept.
I was disappointed with the lack of coffee in the room, even though there was a coffee machine. Also, the air conditioning was not turned on prior to our arrival, making it uncomfortable at first. Lastly, I found the church bells ringing early in the morning to be quite disruptive, impacting my sleep during my stay.

Solo traveler seeks comfort
The staff was incredibly friendly, especially the front desk girl who gave me the scoop on all the must-sees in town! ! Plus, waking up to the enchanting church bells was something I never expected to love so much. Those chimes made mornings absolutely magical.
It wasn’t cheap, but honestly, worth every dime.

I really enjoyed my stay with a large room that had a lovely view of the adjacent courtyard and a clean, refreshing swimming pool to relax by. There were plenty of cozy spots to sip coffee and unwind, although the air conditioning took a bit of juggling to get just right. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, but be prepared for some ambient noise from the street occasionally! 😊

The Standard Queen Room was pretty nice. It was clean and comfortable, and I loved that the breakfast had a stunning view of the church. The staff was super welcoming which added a lot to the vibe. The air conditioning was a bit inconsistent, though. it kept getting turned off when I left the room, so I had to keep messing with it. The overall atmosphere is fantastic, just be ready for extra warmth right when you walk in.
